“Yoga is for every BODY” is a keystone to Stephanie’s teaching. Stephanie has been teaching movement in one way or another since her teens. In 2012, she began her yoga practice, and noticed a revival of great enjoyment, as well as a sense of positive well-being back into her life. She had started her new career as an elementary school teacher in 2008, and was feeling overwhelmed with the workload and worry-load. Yoga was a fun outlet to learn something new and to get her body moving again after years of focusing on education. Feeling movement again, and exploring new ways of moving, brought her joy and the novelty of coming to deeply know her body and mind!

2016 brought some big changes to Stephanie’s life. Diagnosed with breast cancer, she began treatments and, post-surgery, she found herself in a situation she had never been in before - most movement, even going for a walk, caused her a great deal of pain and she was unable to use her dominant arm for the most part. Once the treatments were successfully finished, it was time to get busy healing and recovering her ability to run and play. It was really Yoga Therapy and then gentle classes that enabled her to get back to moving fluidly again. During all of this she also discovered the healing effects of restorative yoga!

Stephanie now enjoys many forms of yoga and has embarked on a lifelong journey to learn more and to share her passion with her yoga students. In this sense, yoga pulled her through - it brought her back to moving with less pain, reignited a sense of well-being and provided a new direction in life!

Stephanie completed her 200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2019. This was also the beginning of her studies in restorative yoga of which she completed an advanced training in 2020. In 2023, she embarked on her journey with the renowned School of Embodied Yoga Therapy to become a Certified Yoga Therapist and so far it has been thrilling! Most recently, Stephanie trained in UK with Petra Coveney to receive her Menopause Yoga certification.

Stephanie loves to learn and has many wonderful courses under her belt.

In her private sessions she enjoys assisting with:

Lisa is a Registered Massage Therapist who trained in British Columbia and brings nearly 16 years of clinical experience to her practice. She has a special interest in treating headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and supporting long-distance runners in maintaining and restoring their bodies.

Her approach to care is both therapeutic and collaborative. With a background in psychology (Carleton University), she brings an added understanding of the connection between stress, the nervous system, and physical tension.

She believes that while massage therapy can play an important role in healing, lasting change comes from a client’s active participation in their own well-being. She works alongside her clients—guiding, supporting, and creating space for the body to shift.

Lisa is particularly drawn to helping those who want to move through life with more ease, whether that means reducing pain, improving function, or returning to the activities they love.

She also has a growing interest in supporting first responders and others in high-stress roles, and is continuing her studies in Law Enforcement to better understand the unique physical and mental demands of this work. Her goal is for clients to leave each session not only feeling better, but feeling more capable, empowered, and connected to their own bodies.
